A triumvirate / tri • um • ver • et / refers to a system of governance made up of three primary powers. Within the realm of information security, there are multiple examples of this:
The CIA Triad: Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability
The AAA of Access Control: Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting
The Over-Arching GRC: Governance, Risk, and Compliance
Each of these triads makes up an important part of our approach to security and compliance. Hence, Triumvirate Cybersecurity Consulting was born! Our goal is to utilize our knowledge to provide our customers with balanced, actionable guidance as they undertake their journeys towards compliance with the U.S. DoD's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program.
